Report Cards and Conferences

Report cards will go home with students on Friday, November 30th. It has been changed from November 16th to give teachers adequate time to mark them.

You will still have a parent-teacher conference about your child’s progress. Conferences will begin December 10th and run through December 21st. All students will be released early from school during those two weeks so teachers can meet with parents.

Conference schedule is as follows:

TK-K early friend release time stays the same at 11:05 a.m.

TK-K late friend release time is 1:00 p.m.

1st-5th grade will be released at 1:10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday hours do not change- release time will still be 12:25 p.m.

Be sure you make any needed adjustments with your day care provider.

PrincipalAnyone attending a class party must be cleared through the District and sign in/out at the office.  No clearance, no party. 😊

Non-cleared parents CAN attend the Halloween parade. Those visitors will sign in/out and will be outside watching the students, not going in classrooms.

  What is the PFC?

The Mt. Diablo Elementary PFC is a non-profit volunteer organization that helps to fund programs and provide supplies that the school could not otherwise afford.
The money raised by the PFC supports our computer program, provides instructional aides, yard duty support, curriculum enhancement, parent educator programs, classroom supplies, new technology, playground equipment, enrichment and reading assistance programs, and much more.

PFC Mission

To support high academic standards and a positive learning environment at our school through educational and social programs, parent outreach, and community involvement.

PFC Vision

To make every child's potential a reality by:
  • Helping to provide a strong educational and learning environment for students
  • Maintaining a strong membership and good relationships with teachers and each other through effective communication, planning, documentation, and training
  • Having visibility and a voice in the community
  • Maintaining a healthy bank account through planning and the financial/strategic flexibility to adjust to outside factors

  How Do I Get Involved?

We would love for you to get involved. This is a great way to help your kids, meet new parents and have fun. Your kids and community will appreciate your support.
